STAR WARRIOR [to give him his tribal name] was a shaman capable of simultaneously picturing past, present and future. So vivid was his vision that others also experienced his rapture. Myth and prophecy, through flashback and preview, became for his tribe real-time. Stars in his eyes became their navigational charts. This was his talent, the transubstantiation of base material into hard currency. His reliving of the past and projections to the future remain 'powerful medicine'.
